Of all the Tesla Model Y accessories I’ve bought since taking delivery of my Juniper, floor mats were the first thing on my list, and they turned out to be the one I’d most happily buy again.
The factory carpet mats looked clean at first. But after just a few days, dust and sand started showing up, and when I cleaned them myself at a self-service car wash, it was much harder than I expected. The dust stuck in the carpet fibers didn’t come out even after several passes with the vacuum.
So I ordered the Yonzee (YZ) 9-piece floor mat set for the Tesla Model Y Juniper from AliExpress. I didn’t expect much. Mats get stepped on every day, so my plan was to use a cheap set and replace it later. After installing it and living with it for over a month, I changed my mind.
A note for readers outside South Korea: I’m a Model Y owner in Dongtan, South Korea, and I bought this set through AliExpress’s Korean storefront. Prices below are what I paid in Korean won, with dollar figures at an illustrative rate of ₩1,400 per US dollar. AliExpress prices, shipping times, and options in your country will differ. The comparison prices for other brands are Korean prices.
The Short Version
- Best part: Cleaning is easy. I just pull the mat out and shake it off or vacuum it.
- Fit: Made for the Model Y Juniper, and the front and second-row mats fit better than I expected.
- Value: The full set covers the front row, second row, frunk, and trunk for ₩143,000 (about $102), far less than most branded Model Y floor mats.
- Downsides so far: Shipping took a while, and I can’t judge long-term durability yet.
What I Bought: Yonzee Tesla Model Y Floor Mats

When I checked again about a month later, the same set was going for roughly ₩100,000–110,000 (about $71–79) in Korea. AliExpress prices move a lot with coupons, options, and sales, so check the current price on AliExpress before you buy.
Before: The Factory Carpet Mats Were Hard to Clean

The factory mats match the interior and look neat at first. In real use, though, dust, grit, and sand work their way into the carpet fibers quickly.

Large debris vacuums up easily. But dust stuck in the mat or the car’s floor carpet only comes out if you hold the nozzle close and go over the same spot again and again. It takes time, and my back and arms felt it. Since I clean the interior myself instead of paying a detailer, this was a real source of stress, and it’s why mats topped my list of must-have Model Y accessories.
Yonzee vs. Other Model Y Floor Mats: Price
When I shopped for Juniper mats in Korea, these were the main options I compared (Korean prices as of July 2026):
| Brand | Approx. price in Korea | Approx. USD | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| YZ (Yonzee) | ₩143,000 | $102 | 9-piece set, TPE + carpet topper |
| 3W | ₩469,000 | $335 | Full TPE set |
| TESERY | ₩254,000–455,000 | $181–325 | Depends on 3-piece or 6-piece option |
| Tesla genuine | about ₩698,000 combined | about $499 | Interior, trunk/seatback, trunk well, and frunk liners bought separately |
I didn’t want to spend a lot on mats in the first place. They get stepped on, collect dirt, and get messy fast when a family is climbing in and out. I’d rather use an affordable set without worrying about it, clean it when it gets dirty, and let it go with the car when I eventually sell. By that standard, $300–500 sets felt like too much for me.
Unboxing: Slow Shipping, Complete Set
Shipping was slow. Like most Tesla accessories from AliExpress, it ships internationally from China, and the wait felt long. That was the only real downside I found. If you need mats right away, factor that in.

The Best Part: TPE Base + Removable Carpet Topper

The front mats use a TPE tray base with a removable carpet topper. All-TPE mats are easy to wipe clean but can make the cabin look a bit utilitarian. Plain carpet mats look nicer but are hard to clean once dust gets in. This design combines the two and covers most of each one’s weaknesses.
The topper isn’t a thin sheet of fabric, either. It has some thickness and a natural texture that matches the Model Y’s black interior. Installed, it doesn’t look like a cheap AliExpress product.
Driver Footwell: Before and After

Because the edges curve up like a tray, dirt and sand stay on the mat instead of spilling onto the car’s floor. The difference in coverage is obvious side by side.

Most of the time I keep the carpet topper on. In rainy or snowy seasons, you can take it off and run just the TPE base. On my car, I didn’t notice any interference around the brake or accelerator pedal. Still, after installing any driver’s mat, check that it’s secured and doesn’t interfere with the pedals.
Second Row, Frunk, and Trunk

The second-row mat isn’t split into left and right. It’s one piece from side to side, including the center, so less sand and dust gets onto the car’s floor. It also has a carpet topper, so the back seat doesn’t look like it’s lined with rubber.

The frunk gets its own fitted liner, too. Even if you toss in charging gear or car-wash supplies, you can just pull the liner out and wipe it down.
The trunk liner turned out to be more useful than I expected. Loading and unloading groceries or bags dirties the trunk floor fast, and having a layer of TPE there takes the worry away. If you’re buying Model Y accessories one at a time, getting the frunk and trunk liners in the same set as the cabin mats saves a lot of separate orders.

After a Month: Cleaning Is the Real Win
The biggest change wasn’t how the car looked. It was how I clean it.
Dirt and dust now stay on the mat instead of grinding into the car’s carpet. To clean, I lift the whole mat out and shake it off outside, or run a vacuum over it. If needed, I can remove just the carpet topper. No more working the same spot over and over with a car-wash vacuum. Open the door, pull the mat, shake it, done. That simple difference mattered more than I expected.
One unplanned tip: after installing the Yonzee set, I didn’t have a good place to store the factory mats. I tried laying a factory mat on top of the Yonzee mat, and it sat there more naturally than I expected.

I wouldn’t call that an official feature. But if you don’t want to throw away the factory mats and have nowhere to keep them, it’s a practical option. Just make sure nothing on the driver’s side slides or bunches up near the pedals.
Who This Tesla Model Y Accessory Is For
| Good fit if you… | Compare pricier sets if you… |
|---|---|
| Just took delivery and haven’t picked mats yet | Want the thickest, most premium feel |
| Clean your own interior | Need proven multi-year durability right now |
| Want front, rear, frunk, and trunk covered in one order | Need mats quickly and can’t wait for international shipping |
| Don’t like the look of all-rubber mats | Prefer a well-known brand with local support |
| Find $300–500 mat sets hard to justify | Want flawless finishing on every edge |
I fully understand paying more for a brand like 3W or Tesla’s own liners. But if your goal is protecting the floor and making self-cleaning easy, I didn’t feel the need to spend hundreds of dollars more.
My Verdict
I ordered the Yonzee 9-piece set expecting a cheap placeholder. After installing it and using it for over a month, it turned out better than I expected: the fit is good, it suits the black interior, and above all, cleaning is far easier than with the factory carpet.
I chose it because it was cheap. I’m keeping it because it’s good. If I were setting up a new Model Y again, this is the Tesla Model Y accessory I’d order first. I’ll update this post if durability becomes an issue.
